The DefenseReady 2010 Q4 Workforce release focused on Orders Log management for what many organizations call “Temporary Orders.” Whether administrators are dealing with pay orders, leave orders, or other types of temporary orders, DefenseReady allows them to authorize, terminate, revoke, amend, and void orders. The system can be configured to allow for unique logs per unit, or for shared logs, with unique order number generation for each log.

For Mission, we’ve added some capabilities to Task Force management that allow for contacts to be projected into future task force assignments. Administrators can now enter task force members and augmentees in a “planning” status, which provides visibility over incoming personnel and gives users a place to track the progress of an inbound resource.
The Medical component of DefenseReady received some new standard forms, as well as configurations that allow for contacts to be exempt from certain vaccinations, and for medical file records to be automatically generated when contacts enter the workforce.
Behind the scenes, we’ve made plenty of infrastructure changes that will help our customers make the transition to CRM 2011 seamlessly, and we’re continuing to work hard as we anxiously await the release of CRM 2011 On-Premise.
